REAL LOVE COMES FROM GOD

WHAT IS LOVE?
I learned years ago that love is patient and love is kind.  When someone  irritates you and gets under your skin doesn't cause you to get irritated is love.  If we are easily irritated, we need to remember that perfection exists only I God.  Love is not lust.  Our society confuses love and lust.  Real love gives and expects nothing in return.  Only God can help us set aside our own desires and instincts so that we can give love without expecting nothing in return.  Love doesn't envy what others have. Love is happy for the next person.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. Love protects, trusts, hopes, and always preserves.  Years ago, I had to ask God to give me real love for my biological father because when I was growing up, he never came to visit me or did anything for me, it left me bitter towards him, and it left me vulnerable and fragile.  Had he was there in my life, a lot of things that happened to me wouldn't have happened because he would have been my umbrella from a lot of stuff.  So, after I receive God as my lord and savior, I had to ask God to give me love for my father, and he did. When I saw my daddy, I had nothing but pure love for him.  When I was a child, some other bad things happened to me, and I had to ask God to heal me of that and give me love for the ones who hurt me.  I know for a fact that God is love and love comes from God. So, if you need real love, just call on the name of God and his son, and it's yours.

Believe, Become, and Behave, or Believe, Behave, and Become?

Believe, Become, and Behave or Believe, Behave, and Become?

When I asked myself this question, I thought about what took place when I first became a Christian? Before I became a Christian, I had to believe there was a Christ. Once I heard the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, it left such a conviction upon me that I knew that God was real, and I knew that his power was real, so I began to believe in God, his power, and the Holy Bible. After believing, I began to allow the holy spirit to transform my mind and that transformation caused me to become a Christian! After the holy spirit transformed my mind, and my soul, I naturally wanted my body to line up with the word of God. I no longer wanted to please myself, but, pleasing the Lord and behaving the way God wanted me to, was my daily goal. Now, I can conclude that one must believe first, then they become a Christian, and once they become a Christian, they will want their behavior to line up with the word of God. Would you agree that some of us Christians treat growing in Christ as an attempt to become someone different rather than a continual and growing realization that we’ve already become different? I’m excited to hear your thoughts on the subject of believe, become, and behave, or believe, behave, and then become. Minnie L Douglas

GOD LONGS FOR A RELATIONSHIP WITH US

GENESIS 1:1-31

In the beginning, God loved his creations, but he was lonely.  He wanted a friend to share his new world, someone who would be like him. After careful consideration, he formed a man from the dust of the earth and called his name Adam unlike any of God's other choices.
Knowing that Adam would be lonely, he created a woman and named here Eve and not Steve to be his companion. Adam and Eve lived together in a beautiful garden called Eden. Often God would visit them in this garden, and he enjoyed talking to them.  He blessed Adam and Eve with children, so children are an inheritance from God, and God expect parents to be good head ships over their children. Adam and Eve became the first parents of the earth.  Soon, the world was filled with people, and God wanted everyone to be happy and live forever in his perfect world.  The one's he loved so dearly, turned their backs on what was right, but that didn't stop him from loving them.  So, he  came up with a plan of salvation to give everyone an opportunity to be redeemed and come back to him. He loved us so much that he sacrificed his one and only sons life, so that we would have a right to the tree of life.  God is still waiting and longing for us to come back to him. Would you come back to the Lord right where you are?  You don't need to be in a building to come back to him, because  He'll accept you right where you are.  You can start by repeating the sinner's prayer.  Say, " Lord Jesus, I'm  a sinner, and I repent of every wrong thing I've ever done against you. I ask you to forgive me and come into my life and make me over again.  Lord, I don't want to go to hell, save my soul from hell, fill me with your holy power from on high, and I thank you and accept you as my Lord as savior."  Once you repeat this prayer, you are now a born again Christian, and heaven rejoices over one soul. Praise the Lord my brother or sister in Christ. You have been bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and you are accepted into his kingdom.

EVERYTHING BELONGS TO GOD (PSALM 24)

PSALM 24

THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S AND EVERYTHING IN IT
THE WORLD, AND ALL WHO LIVE IT ;
FOR HE FOUNDED IT UPON THE SEAS
AND ESTABLISHED IT UPON THE WATERS;
WHO MAY ASCEND THE HILL OF THE LORD?

WHO MAY STAND IN HIS HOLDY PLACE?
HE WHO HAS CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART
WHO DOES NOT LIFT UP HIS SOUL TO AN IDOL
OR SWEAR BY WHAT IS FALSE.
HE WILL RECEIVE BLESSING FROM THE LORD
VINDICATION FROM GOD HIS SAVIOR.
SUCH IS THE GENERATION OF THOSE WHO SEEK HIM,
WHO SEEK YOUR FACE, O GOD OF JACOB.
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS O YOU GATES,
BE LIFTED UP YOU ANCIENT DOORS,
THAT THE KING OF GLORY MAY COME IN.
WHO IS THE KING OF GLORY?
THE LORD STRONG AND MIGHTY.
THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE.
LIFT UP YOUR HEADS O YOU GATES,
LIFT THEM UP, YOU ANCIENT DOORS,
THAT THE KING OF GLORY MAY COME IN.
THE LORD ALMIGHTY-

EVERYTHING BELONGS TO GOD- THE GLORIOUS ETERNAL KING.
LET US WORSHIP HIM AND WELCOME HIS GLORIOUS REIGN. AMEN. NIV

A DEPENDABLE GUIDE PSALM 23

THIS IS ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE PSALMS, AND I LEARNED IT WORD FOR WORD AT A VERY YOUNG AGE, AND LEARNEF FROM EXPERIENCE THAT GOD IS  REALLY THE GOOD SHEPHERD.

PSALM 23
THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT BE IN WANT FOR ANYTHING.
HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES,
HE LEADS ME BESIDE THE QUIET WATERS.
HE RESTORES MY SOUL.

A BIBLE TEACHING ABOUT ANGELS

Angels carry out God's judgment." (2 Samuel 24:16-17.)  " But as the death angel was preparing to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord relented and aid to the angel, stop! That's enough!  At that moment, the angel of the Lord was by the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite." Verse seventeen says, “When David saw the angel, he said to the Lord, "I am the one who has sinned and done wrong! And these people are innocent- what have they done?  Let your anger fall against me and my family."(NLT)

PRAYER MAKES A DIFFERENCE

The Difference

I got up early one morning

And rushed right into the day;

I had so much to accomplish

That I didn’t have time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me,

And heavier came each task.

“Why doesn’t God help me?” I wandered.

He answered, “You didn’t ask,”

FEAR NOT FOR GOD IS WITH THEE

PHILIPPIANS 4:8
1. Meditate on things that are true.
 2. Meditate on things that are lovely.
3. Meditate on things that are noble.
4. Meditate on things that are just.
5. Meditate on things that are virtuous.
6.Meditate on things that are pure.
7. Meditate on things that are praise worthy,
8) Meditate on things that are of good report.
Do you agree that when we fill our daily lives with meditation and prayer, there will be no room for fear?
There's so much evil works going on in the world today that it causes some of us to develop a great amount of fear in our hearts and minds, but I want to remind you that fear is of the devil, and father God of heaven, wants to wipe every ounce of fear from your minds, hearts, and spirits. God wants us to spend as much time as we can  meditating on these eight things that I've written out.

GOD OFFERS, WILL WE ACCEPT IT?

HEBREW 7:27- HE OFFERED UP HIS SON FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD.

God offered us salvation by giving up his one and only son to die for the sins of the whole wide world. Now, that was a serious offer, and he  went through with all of his offers.  I believe that God wants us be serious in our walk with him too.  How many times have you witnessed people sing songs of Zion and haven't really submitted totally to God?  Just think about it, are we really serious when we sing songs like, "Lord I want to be a Christian in my heart, and when we sing songs like, Lord make me over, make me over again?"

THE BATTLE BELONGS TO GOD, ALLOW HIM TO FIGHT FOR US

Ephesians 6:10-19niv
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.  Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes!  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground .

THE AWESOMENSS OF GOD

When I think about all the things God, Our Heavenly Father, has done for me  and my family, I can truly without a doubt that God is better than good.  The God I serve is awesome because he's there when friends turn their backs on me.

FAITH IT FOREVER

Many of us know this, so this is just a reminder that God wants us to increase our faith, and Satan wants us to decrease our faith, it sounds simple, but It' really a deep subject.  You see, Satan knows that if you can faith it, everything's going to be okay because God's got you.  You see, faith is having an unwavering confidence in God. God wants to know can you trust him even when you don't like what he's doing. A lot of times God does things I don't like, but if I want the victory, I need to trust that he's got the situation in control.
